I have always enjoyed learning foreign languages. Therefore, when I was faced with an important life decision, which the choice of studies undoubtedly is, I knew that I wanted to learn a new language. The only question was: what? I decided that it is worth thinking about the future, and looking at the job offers at our northern neighbors, I found that learning Norwegian is the best choice. I have to admit that at first I thought the language was exotic and strange, but over time I got to like it, and after a few trips to Norway, I also began to appreciate the beauty of this country: amazing landscapes, peace there, the hospitality of the Norwegians and Norwegian literature. In my work at Trolltunga, I cherish the fact that I can meet wonderful people and share my passion for Norwegian culture with them. I try to spend my free time actively: jogging, going for walks or cycling.

I love mountain hiking, so I decided that I want to get to know this beautiful country better. Although at the beginning Norwegian seemed strange and quite difficult to me, over time I fell in love with its sound. Thanks to going to Bergen for the summer school, I got to know Norway even better. I am interested in Scandinavian literature and literary translation and in the future I plan to become a translator. I also love to draw in my spare time.

Thanks to her, I spent my first vacation in Norway and fell in love with this country, and then … there was no other way 😉 – Norwegian philology in Poznań, a year at Pasvik folkehøgskole in the north of Norway (the best year of my life!). I try to infect my students with the joy of learning a new language. I love animals (dog and two cats), literature (especially Norwegian) and music (especially old).

After many years of studying and spending holidays in Oslo, I was on a one-year exchange in Finnmark, where I lived with a Norwegian family and went to high school there. During the exchange I had a chance to learn different dialects and live in different parts of Norway. I met a lot of people there that I am still in contact with today. I am studying medical biology in Gdańsk. Interests: computer science, laboratory work, computer games, board games, metal concerts.

After many years of studying and spending holidays in Oslo, I was on a one-year exchange in Finnmark, where I lived with a Norwegian family and went to high school there. During the exchange I had a chance to learn different dialects and live in different parts of Norway. I met a lot of people there that I am still in contact with today. I love everything about it – from the richness of dialects, through grammar, ending with Norwegian words like “koselig” and “hyggelig”. My studies gave me the opportunity to attend a summer school in Oslo. There, I not only improved my language, but also met wonderful people and deepened my knowledge of Norwegian culture. I love to pass on what I’ve learned. In my free time I go to the cinema and read.

After some time, I also finished Norwegian philology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. I love snow, cold and hiking in the wilderness. I try to instill a passion for languages and love for my favorite country in my students?

I am very happy that I can be a member of the Trolltunga team and infect others with my passion for Norwegian.

Every day I am a full-time teacher 🙂 In the mornings I teach English to the younger ones and in the afternoons I work in Trolltunga and I do what I love the most, i.e. Norwegian. Also, I’m still studying. I think that a good teacher should constantly develop, which is why I chose another direction related to Scandinavia. In my free time I am a fan of vegan cuisine, long walks and cats.

I am currently working at the Consulate of the Kingdom of Norway in Krakow and teaching Norwegian. In the “land of fjords” I spent 7 years working as a cook. The kitchen is my second natural environment after the classroom 🙂 About myself in three positive words: loyal, hardworking and independent.

I am a young and enthusiastic person. I study Norwegian philology at the SWPS University in Warsaw. I am currently an exchange student in Norway. In this way, I continue my philological education and expand my language competences, cultural knowledge and scientific experience. I have a positive attitude towards life and people, and I easily make contacts, which is why I think that lessons with me will be held in a very pleasant atmosphere. In addition to language interests, I am also passionate about music, photography and directing.

I am a young and enthusiastic person. I study Norwegian philology at the SWPS University in Warsaw. I am currently an exchange student in Norway. In this way, I continue my philological education and expand my language competences, cultural knowledge and scientific experience. I have a positive attitude towards life and people, and I easily make contacts, which is why I think that lessons with me will be held in a very pleasant atmosphere. Hei! My adventure with Norwegian began with watching the series “Vikings” in high school, which aroused my interest in Scandinavia, its culture and history. In addition, I have always been passionate about foreign languages. Therefore, when considering potential fields of study, I did not hesitate too long and decided on the Scandinavian studies in Gdańsk and the Norwegian line, which I consider to be the best I could do. In my free time, I like physical activity and reading – I am particularly passionate about history and fantasy.

Hei! I started my adventure with Norwegian in Scandinavian studies in Gdańsk. Previously, this language was known to me only from the TV series “Skam”, which I would probably never watch if it wasn’t recommended to me by my friends. When choosing my studies, I was mainly guided by the humanities and that’s how I chose Norwegian. I have also been playing handball in the Gdynia club for 12 years and I was a representative of the Women’s Polish Youth Team. I am very happy that I can combine my passion for Norwegian and sport, and share this knowledge with others.

Scandinavia, and in particular Norway and Svalbard, delighted me with its nature, climate and northern lights. After graduating from high school, the choice of major was clear 🙂 I love my studies. I fell in love with the Norwegian language on them, and the continuous development of my knowledge gives me great joy. In my free time I read books, mainly novels or reportages, and whenever I have the opportunity, I return to Norway, even for a weekend.

Trips to Norway, beautiful views of the fjords and wonderful people I had the opportunity to meet convinced me that I want to learn both the Norwegian language and Norwegian culture. During the holidays I travel around Norway photographing metal festivals and walking in the mountains, and in my free time I design album covers and posters, read Scandinavian and Japanese literature and draw.

The music of the North was love at first hearing and has accompanied me every day since then. In a way, I owe her mastery of pronunciation, which can sometimes be surprising 🙂 As an artistic soul, when learning a language, I prefer non-standard solutions and systems of associations. Working with people is an integral part of my life – apart from Norwegian, I share my knowledge of English and act as an occasional photographer.
